I do have a couple of the Dutch KM#124 Wilhemina (silver 25 cents) but yesterday I did find one made of zink (date 1928) instead of silver. As a Dutch collector I didn't know the existence of this coin and I couldn't find a KM# neither.
Is someone out there who know this coin?

This is getting interesting, I'm Dutch as well and a collector for over 20 years, but I am not aware of any zinc coins produced by the Netherlands, other than the German occupation money from the WW II period.
It's precisely like the silver one. I do have books about all Dutch coins (Dutch republic/Dutch kingdom) and I'm pretty sure that this coin only exist in the silver version. This one must to by war money (the same stamp twenty years later and another composition).
I can make a photo of it, but it changes anything. What I'd like to know is how many of these coins were made.
For the Dutch collectors between us... I do also have one cent 1912 made of silver, which do not exists neither!

I'm Dutch too, and do know all coins from Willem the 1st till Beatrix.
I know that this coin can`t be true (in zinc), but I do have one!
If anyone wants to find it, be my guest. It was about this zinc-coloured British Rupee during George VI's rule. It was a fake because it had a small crack and it was bubbly, kinda. I think it was tin, come to think of it. Maybe Japan faked it since they used tin coins.
Contemporaries are a lot more interesting than the actual coin sometimes!
