I don’t have much information about this coin other than is 1.5 centimetres in diameter

What's the precise weight, is it made un brass or gold ?

It looks like a caduceus

I’m not 100% sure, my scale doesn’t work too well just shows 0, it’s non magnetic. that’s about all the information I’m able to give

Iranian wedding gift tokens are surprisingly common, and to be found even over here, and many different ones exist. I suppose  sadly so many Iranian people had to flee their country and took away such small souvenires.  A new thread about them comes up here a few times every year.

I’ve had this for a few years and just remembered about it, it is very interesting none the less. Thank you for this information, it’s cool to learn new things.

Does anyone know how such a token may have been used? 

Or in general, what exactly is a “wedding token” ?
