Spanish coin#1. Maravedi?

Hello,dear friends,

Recently bought  two coins  on our flea market, but cannot completely odentify them

The 1st one: copper or bronze,- 4,93g,  about 20mm

Good morning,

I believe you have a 2 maravedis of Philip II of Spain minted in Cuenca.  The C to the left of the castle on the obverse is the mintmark and the A surmounted by a cross on the right is the Assayer's mark for Alonso Román (c. 1585-1587).  Here is a variant from this site.

2 Maravedis - Felipe II (low grade billon; latin legend) - Spain – Numista

Cheers,

Dave

Thank You very much, dear Dave.

I  saw this coin but I thought my one is too far  from  that one in   Numista link.

well, so 2 maravedis.

Thanks !

best

David
