Two hammered early medieval coins? [opgelost]

5 berichten • 74 keer bekeken

Good evening!

I have two coins I think dates to early medieval times, but I would like to know what coins these are.

Coin 1 ∅ = 17mm.

Coin 2 ∅ = 19,5mm.

Thickness is around 1mm.

I have no appropriate scale to measure the weights and the composition is unknown, probably billon of somesort.

Ahaa, so a misunderstoodment about the rule #2 on my behalf, apologies about it.

Let's go with the better quality coin that's named 'Coin 2' and it has diameter of 19,5mm and thickness of 1mm.

Weight unknown.

Aethelred, late small cross type:  N#94166
