2 Victoria had her head on so many coins I can't keep up - this just shows ANOTHER variety of British Indian coins ! I also have an Alwar state rupee too..
Ok guys, Number one is my vote, and here is some info on the coin:
It is a bronze prutah from the year 67-68 AD, made in year two of the first revolt of the Jews against the Romans. It was used and later dug up in Masada, an ancient Jewish fortress in Israel, on top of the mountain. It's actually an awesome place (I've been there).

Citeer: redsmithstudios#1, so much history, did you dig it up yourself?
No, I wish. I did take part of an archeological dig somewhere else though (hoping to find coins) but all I found was 3000 year old pottery, nails and metal. Still fun though. I bought the coin from a apparently reputable coin shop and it came with a certificate of authenticity.
The best ancient coin place was in neighbouring Jordan (in Petra) where I bought 4 ancient coins for $40, and I got them evaluated by an ancients dealer who said they were worth $50-$100 a piece
Citeer: pnightingalePetra is at the very top of my "places still to see" list.
Its absolutely fabulous! Even after being in Israel for weeks before I was completely blown away. But now you can justify going-- knowing that they sell ancient coins for cheap, you could profit
Apparently they find the coins in the sand after the three times of the year that it rains
