Mexico- 8 Reales (Federal Coinage)

VS
United States- ½ Dollar (Vermont Sesquicentennial)
Great, finally I'm forced to choose between two worthy opponents. This one is tough. I think the commemorative disability is obvious, 1 it is.
#2 dat cat.
Number one - I want an all colonial coin final ha !
Number 2, love commemoratives and silver, but I do like the 'libertad' hat on coin one

#1

For the patina.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
Number 2 is a pretty nice coin.

The toning on number 1 is really beautiful, but the engravings on that US coin outmatch the Mexican eagle.

Another tough one, but I'll got with #2 mainly because it is better grade.
#1 because of the beautifully toned silver.
#2

almost went for #1 but the cat is so well sculpted.

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
#2, coz the cat stands out
2 for nice design, the Mexican coin is boring

Denn alles Fleisch, es ist wie Gras

#2 I just love the American commemorative half dollars and the Vermont is one of my favorites. The Mexican coin is a beauty as well no doubt.
2, a cool commemorative.
#2 because it's just more attractive overall.

No. 1, I do not like that Mexican animal...
