Lower Canada- 1/2 Penny

VS
France- 12th Place Biking Medal
2, with that wonderful design on the French token, they could have easily left the other side blank.
#2 such a nice French medal with a beautiful design. How could I not vote for it?
1 - the biking token is nonsense - to me this circulated as currency and deserves to go through.
#1 : old, used as money, Canadian
Numista referee for Canada and Estonia.
1.

Even though number 2 has a half naked French chick... 12th place???? They get a medal for being beaten by 11 people!
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
That's France for ya though Phil, lol it doesn't matter that we fell to the Nazis, it's the taking part that counts !

I'm only joking by the way :D
On the radio, a while back, they had a riddle asking which European country has a flag that's one single solid colour, and nothing else. The answer was France and white.
Number 2!

Remember guys, this is an international site started by a French guy and half the members are French, let's keep the jokes to the poker table not the forum.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
#1, Canadian
1 both are not very good looking, but first was used as money

Denn alles Fleisch, es ist wie Gras
I do love that French medal so I'll go with #2

#1 I almost went with 2 because it kind of reminds me of the Italian 20 Centesimi which I love but 12th place isn't that good.

But the flag is a tricolore, I don't understand...Blue and Red are two colours with a shade of white.

To the point in hand, this is hard...but I think if I was given a choice between buying one or the other, I'd choose 2. She also reminds me of the flying woman on the Italian 20 centisimi.

The French have the best sense of humor, I'm sure this riddle isn't going to start a major international conflict, but the front page of any CHARLIE HEBDO magazine just might. :D  They know what's funny and why it's funny. Cheers to that!

Going back to the riddle that went over the head of bam777, maybe a more seasoned member can PM and enlighten him. This forum is not the place.
#1 looks more like a coin.

Now, I feel stupid but...I must say despite the fact I'm not French; I find that a little offensive. I think I missed it as I just didn't really think about it for long enough at work. I do find it unfair though.

That's history for you, no room for PC emotional crap and feeling sorry for yourself when facts are at play. Didn't French soldiers actually fight once under the white flag?

If you don't get it, here is a hint:

Why was this riddle associated with France falling to the nazis?
Don't worry about me: let's continue with the contest.
I agree Ben, it was bad taste really especially by me in Frankie Boyle mode "/
Citeer: redsmithstudios... let's keep the jokes to the poker table not the forum.
I'm in shock, that we don't have someone pointing out how offensive a suggestion like playing poker/gambling is. Especially considering all the US States where it is illegal to gamble socially. I won't even get into the moral and religious implications. Then there are other countries to consider. 0:)  ;)
Euphemism...anyway stick with the MPCC, not the inappropriate joke.
Okay, new rule!

Stick to the contest!
No. 2, because of the condition. Also the other one is nice.

But, why do you think this is a French token? The reverse says "XII. Preis", and this is German?!

Why don't you just tell me what you want me to write. :)

Why don't you just tell me how you want me to vote. :)

Ah, I was told it was French by a dealer! Is he wrong?
