Can't find an exact match as of yet and need time to study it. Perhaps Spanish colonial?

I would not worry about the alignment as hammered coins will vary. In fact my reorientation may be wrong as well.  Sorry, what I am wrestling with is the following to the left of the shield. Makes no sense to me so far. Dare I say this could be a counterfeit? Not sure yet. Perhaps others can chime in.
