On another forum I got a hint that it is an Ottoman Empire / early Turkish republic coin (perhaps a commemorative medal? or a Monnaie de Luxe?) but I found nothing similar to this one on Numista. Maybe someone who can read Arabic script could shed some light. Apparently there is no year on it. I attach pics of both sides. The diameter of this piece is 4.5cm, the weight is 12.5g. Thank you!
