I almost did not vote on this one, I pulled up both photos and after a great debate, I must go with the Canoe.

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
King George can ride over Ira Allen's lion in his canoe anyday.

#1

and my favourite side is the obverse, like the lion side on the other coin
Numista referee for Canada and Estonia.
George ruled the areas which had lions so he trumps them lol
I guess I'll vote for #1 but only for King George.
And adopted Motherland here - #1 :)
#2 nice cat
#1 because it is Canadian, silver and I like King George

#2, love the Canadian dollar but like apuking said, the half dollar is not something you see every day.  And it looks to me like the cat chased the king's men who are fleeing by canoe.
1, Big silver coin with canoe.
2, Cool design but not cool enough, cat side.

I didn't think to put my Canada half dollar !

The US commemorative half dollars are pretty much the only such series which don't make me cringe. My number 1 most sought after coin right now is the Stone Mountain 1/2$. We are visiting the Confederate War Memorial early next year, hopefully on 20th April (Robert E Lee's birthday) to pay a personal homage to all of those brave Southern heroes who gave their lives in the War of Northern Aggression.

Deo Vindice.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.
