I need help

My goal is to collect at least 1 coin from every issuer since 1800, and I need a list.

I don't count countries that revise their currency (e.g mexico peso to mexico nuevo peso) but I count territories (e.g Cook Islands, French Polynesia) and I count currency switches (e.g dutch guilder to Euro) and countries that don't exist anymore (e.g Papal states)

I also count instances like the WWII french puppet franc and the WWII french revolutionary franc.

can someone help me?

I think it will be impossible for someone else to help you. As only you know what you would consider an issuer. You can go with Numista's issuers, but you will have to decide if you consider French or German notgelds as issuers, as it will be probably the majority of the number of issuers. Since you consider currency switches as new issuers, you will have to calculate probably all Euro countries. You can start by looking here - https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?ct=coin , then click under each arrow and see if the issuers are under 1800 and if you think they qualify by your standards.

Then you need to go to each country and see how many currency switches you consider as issuers, and how many you don't. For example, Angola. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?e=angola&r=&ct=coin&im1=&im2=&tb=y&tc=y&tn=y&tp=y&tt=y&cat=y&ru=&ca=3&no=&v=&i=&b=&d=&ie=&u=&a=&dg=&m=&f=&t=&w=&mt=&g=&se=&c=&wi=&sw=

Do you consider here 7, 5, or 4 issuers to be? So, it is up to you. This task will take a lot of time, and the number of issuers will be in 1000s.

Maybe a better goal to start with - collect one coin from all 193 UN countries (less a few that never minted coins).

Or perhaps a coin from every administration issuing them in 1800 (The coin does not need to be 1800 - but can be close, Britain for instance, only had fractional guineas and other gold for 1800, but a 1799 Halfpenny or Farthing should be fine). Also I would imagine ANY United States coin from 1800 would be very expensive, but surely an 1810s cent or half cent would be affordable.

The joy about 1800 and even 1900 is it was mostly empires. Less joyful is all the German and Italian states then. But Spain could be all of Latin America, British empire would be the whole empire including Canada and Australia etc.

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

I wondered if Numista issuers list can be exported as an .csv file, and what fields does the record contain?

also, there is another table of currencies, under each issuer, which have the begin and end dates in their names.

If you could get that table you could sort it by end date.
