Here are some ‘facts’ about this commemorative note.
Total quantity was 500,000 pieces issued at RM80 per set (about US$17.50). Since then, it took them years to clear their stock, and at one stage, some commercial banks were selling them at face value to their customer. Then few years ago, the central had a fire sale and I believe they are finally all sold out.
As I am not an expert on this, few years ago, a local catalogue valued this note as RM180 (US$39). Today, if I have to guess, I would say it's worth say US$50.
If you have the 3-in-1 uncut sheet, that one would worth much more.
