Dragon Talisman

I inherited this pendant with a dragon motif. It was part of a game based on the old radio show “Jack Armstrong, the All-American Boy”. I also have the map that goes with it, but no spinner (according to my researches). My real question is the apparently Asian characters on the pendant. I wanted to know if they were just random figures meant to resemble that form of writing or whether it actually means something.

I sent the photo to my former work supervisor who is Chinese. She said the characters say, "The key to a bedroom door is precious to whoever owns it". What that has to do with a kids game is a mystery to me.
