The Polish 5 groszy 1923 was struck for business both in brass and in bronze:
N#4114 (brass)
N#5632 (bronze)
All yellow or yellowish coins will be brass, and all red or brown ones will be bronze.
According to the Numista catalogue, the brass ones are slightly heavier (3.5gr) than the bronze ones (3.0gr). Your results seem to show that the weight difference is smaller: appr. 3.4gr for brass and 3.2gr for bronze.
The only thing I find strange is the 3rd coin from below which seems te brass (but I'm not sure), but weighs 3.2gr only.
Yes, you are right. Previous answer was not answered in a convincing way.
Your feedback is much better. Appreciate it.
And I agree with you 3rd coin seems strange.
Is it possible that 3rd coin 3.2gr is made of BRONZE and consist of mixture 89%Cu 11%Zn?
