Interesting Taiwanese coin issued in 1994 celebrating 30 years of Self-Rescue

Thank you for taking the time to read my post

Does anybody know what this coin is and the approximate value?

Peng Mingmin is a famous Taiwanese Independence advocate and this coin apparently celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the Taiwan Self-Rescue Movement of 1964 (1964-1994)

I've put the COA through AI filters to translate into English. This is what it tells me:

And here is the coin which comes in a decent presentation case. The condition of the coin is not perfect with some milking on the obverse and possibly some signs of handling, not by me of course!

Does anybody have a rough estimate on the value of this piece?

I believe it's worth more than bullion but considering the rarity and significance of the item, how much is it actually worth? I don't want to overcharge anyone but I don't want to sell myself short either

Obviously not a coin but a medal. Usually modern ones are worth melt unless you find someone who like the theme/aesthetics etc.

OK thanks for your reply. I guess I hadn't considered there's no face value so it's not a legal tender coin but a round or like you said, a medal

Likely only has much collector value in Taiwan. Maybe sell on eBay at 2.5x melt to see if there is any interest?
