A coin is not Islamic, since the word Islam describes a religion, not a geographic region. The signs on the coin are Arab words written in the Arabic language!

Higher resolution pictures may be helpful,from the second picture I can read from the second picture the word أحمد which is Ahmed, the first picture low resolution makes it very hard to even guess.
