hi I have been trying to date my Chinese coins but it doesnt matter how many times i read online how to do it I still cant work out how to read the dates I have 3 cash coins and 7 other Chinese coins

can anyone help? I have attached photos of the coins

四  十  七  年

from your second picture, upside down.

https://en.numista.com/numisdoc/calendar-japanese-34.html

That tells you the numbers -

so you have ‘4 10 7 Year’ characters. It is (4 x 10) + 7 = Year 47 on there.

Just look for the 年 which will show the end of the characters,

then look for whatever is before it.

The first two are the name of the Emperor.

Also - these are Japanese coins.

And the last one is from Taiwan, year is 100 (2011):

N#966
