You didn't add the dimensions at all, maybe it's made of iron or it's tooo large,, too small or what have you?

While in general I agree that weight and diameter are needed on hand struck ancient coins it will vary. It could determine the difference between a sestertius and an as for example however as far as I know this coin can only be a sestertius so here it really isn't needed. For instance, the example on cng Steve posted is 33mm and has a weight of 25,06 g while the one on WildWinds is32,5mm with a weight of 22,2 g. Both are authentic.
I'll just add it's a beautiful example. 😍
A bit harshly cleaned and in worse shape than both the examples on CNG and WildWinds so expect its price to be lower but still a nice addition to any collection.
Hi thanks for your knowledge its the best bronze roman coin I've found yet out of the ground its lucky to be in this condition with out being chewed up by the cultivators in the last few hundred years of its existence so glad I found it when I did quick rinse in some distilled water and we have what we have it measures 34 mm across weighs 26.6 grams love detecting looking forward to showing some other interesting roman coins ive found kindest regards Stephen
