Looks like a 1 Rupee from Hyderabad near the end of the 19th. Century - Dated A.H. 129X - as the last figure of the date is off the planchet.

Aidan.

Based by the weight and diameter you informed, should be this one:

Thank you Aidan.

I don't know it's monetary value, but to me it is priceless.

I originally won this coin in a game of marbles when I was 10 years old.

I had won all of my mates marbles, so he went home and flogged this coin from his dad's collection.

He returned and " bought" his marbles back, whereby I then proceded to win them all over again.

Having realised the error of his actions, he begged me to return him the coin.

I didn't.

Gee I must have been a mean little bugger when I was 10. I hope I've changed. I'm now 74. 🤣

Thank you Geison, you are spot-on.

I note that some of the coin characters are not complete on my coin. Is this due to wear and tear or were these coins minted/pressed randomly?

Can you give me a rough idea of it's age. I note there are two dates shown:

Years 1286-1318 (1870-1901).

I assume this is due to the calendar being used.

I have a lot to learn, but I'm loving it.

Thanks again.

Peter.

The dates on Hyderabad's coins are A.H. (Anno Hegirae) dates, Peter.
