Wondering is anyone has any insight into this token?

On page 15 number 5 it is referenced HERE.

Maybe a token you got when you did something on the Day of the Red Cross (LINK with news about Opferdank in Lübeck for the Rotkreuzttag).

 

Or just a propaganda piece before an election, November 1931 comes up on the internet.

All the online auction houses seem to call it a propaganda token or donation medal.
Looks like they were made in Nov 1921.
I just did a web search for “opferdienst und opferdank”

"What we are is not as important as what we aren't"

It's a donation token. People donated 20 pfennig to the NAZI party in the early days and they gave them a token to represent that. 

 

very eerie piece of history there.
