Possible German Notgeld

I need help identifying this coin.  It is a 50 Pfennig coin, so probably from Germany.  It is undated.

The coin features the coat of arms of Augsburg. Its modern version. What metal, what diameter and weight. In my opinion, it is a minted token from some event. Asterisks may indicate the European Union
