copper tanka - Sultanate of Delhi [opgelost]

I have a coin that matches the obverse of N#96631 but is not an exact match.  My coin is copper, weighs 8.92 g, and has a 19.1 mm diameter.  The reverse looks different to me, too.  Any thoughts on what I have?

Looks exactly the same to me, but yours the year is 918

The copper color is normal because there is not much silver in those coins. Sometimes they get very dark brown.

For hand-struck coins it is important to remember that the striking position on the flan, as well as the dies themselves, can vary somewhat for the same type of coin. Considering these factors, your coin is a match for the one you cited, with the difference in date that Geison has noted.
