Hi!
I request the inclusion a Issuing Entity for Portugal banknotes.
The Casa da Moeda de Portugal (Portuguese Mint) was responsible for issuing change notes in two periods: 1891 (Réis standard) and between 1917 and 1925 (Escudo standard). Such issues were approved by decrees of August 6, 1891 and nº 3,296 of August 15, 1917.
Such issues would serve to remedy the problem of the lack of bronze coins (in 1891) and to pay for coins from the imperial period that were being collected at the beginning of the 20th century. Below are some examples of issues by the Casa da Moeda.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this request!
Regards,
Vladimir
