Was this ever an official commemorative release? (Filipino bill)

Or did someone just print out the Leyte Gulf Landings on the left? Can’t find any info about it. Thank you

Here is the official list of commemorative banknotes issued by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. They have no mentions of the Leyte Gulf Landings notes being officially issued. The only commemorative pieces I can find regarding the Leyte Gulf Landings are coins. I would definitely say that someone just printed them out for fun or to try and make a quick buck.

I believe it is a stamp as I've seen stamps like those on other notes from the Philippines.

The Leyte Gulf Landings are commemorated (in a way) with “Leyte Landing” on the NGC 2010-2017A 50 Pesos (P-207a & b). The designation is very small & just above the word PISO (so I have added a blown up of the location + image of soldiers):

And with the Duterte Espenilla (3rd signature combination P-207c) & on the 2017 the printers added the date “Leyte Landing October 1944” for all subsequent versions.
