I'm trying to clear my desk of odd coins lying around gathering dust so I'd like to ID a few of the stragglers.

1. I know it's a fake but is it a counterfeit of a real coin or just a fantasy? I heard that they were given away by a Japanese amusement park.

Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.

2. Islamic bronze coin appx. 25mm, worn smooth but with an incised legend on one side. Anyone read it?

It is fantasy Chinese coin, I have a booklet containing 6 of it with short stories about. Can be count as a token I think
3. Ottoman coin, unfortunately holed. It's appx. 27mm, struck on a very thin planchet. Islamic date is 1233 (1818). Anyone like to take a guess at the denomination and if it's North African Ottoman or Turkish?

I also think that the Arabic writing coin is not a coin, but any kind of token, I don't read Arabic though.

4. Imperial German medal, 28mm appx. and looks like silvered tin. It has a young Kaiser Wilhelm II and St George killing the dragon on the reverse. I'm guessing it's 19th century as the patron saint of England would have been a strange choice during the build up to the Great War.

Anyone shed any light on what it commemorates and when and by whom it was struck?

I think it might be a BRITISH token mocking the Germans. Look at the way the Kaiser looks like he is in a political cartoon.
Hello,

the Ottoman coin is from Turkey, not North Africa, here it is:

Unfortunately I cannot tell which exact year because the second number in the regnal year is at the hole...

Absolutely.
The text reads "Daraba fi Konstantiniyye", which means "minted in Constantinople (Istanbul)".
Although, because of the hole, the year is is only partially readable ( 2? ) under the hole you can see a line, so it is either 24 (1831) or 25 (1832).
Thanks Imreh, any chance you could decipher the inscription on #2 for me>

I am afraid my Arabic is not good enough for that :( ... It translates as: The Middle Eastern company for "D-sh-f-A-l" ...  Dichifal or Dishfal or dashfal or dashafal or something.  :snif:

... the thing is in Arabic, if you do not know the word, you cannot pronounce it, because the short wowels are not appearing in writing

... so I bet it is a transport or some other company token. Judging from the style of script it might be Farsi (e.g. Iran or Pakistan) as well. ... Don't take this for granted though. ;)
