The 1968 coin is 40% silver and is this one:  ½ Dollar "Kennedy Half Dollar" (40% Silver) - United States – Numista It is not a proof as it was minted in Denver (D).

 

The 1996 coin is a proof but may or may not be silver.  What is the weight?

Just checked the weight, they both weigh 10g but oddly when I weigh them together, it's 25g. I've tried two different scales.

25 g for both makes sense.  That would make the 1996 a .900 silver proof (I'm assuming you can't see any copper on the edge).

 

The 1968 in that condition is only a little over melt, maybe UZS $5-6.

 

The 1996 maybe US $15-20 ungraded.

 

Values are for US market. May be higher in your area.
