Appears to be a coin from the reign of the 8th Duke of Savoy - Philibert II - from 1497 to 1504. The coin is silver and is approx. 48mm in diameter and approx. 3.5mm thick. It weighs approx. 68g and is in excellent condition. I have no idea what denomination it is and have not been able to find any references to it online. The closest I have found is the one Testone gold coin of the same era, which bears the same markings.

 Lettering if it helps anyone.

Obverse: PHILIBTVS DVX SABAVDIE VIII

Reverse: IN TE DOMINE CONFIDO G G / FE RT

= mintmaster Nicola Gatti in Geneve

"In you, o Lord, I confide"

The coat of arms of the House of Savoy - white cross on a red background -

is accompanied by the Savoyard knot (love knot or figure-eight knot)

and FERT, the special motto of the house of Savoy. It has been been taken to

stand for "Foedere Et Religione Tenerum" = "Through unity and religion are we sustained".

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Also - ‘48mm in diameter and approx. 3.5mm thick. It weighs approx. 68g’

which seems very heavy and presumably should be 6.8g weight.

I think for those dimensions 68 g. could be correct.

Which tells us this is a larger-than-life replica, as I don't think there was any coin of this size being struck at that time (the teston of 9 grams was already considered a very large coins for end of 15th c.).
