Coin alignment instead of medal

Hello everyone,

I own this coin but instead of it having a medal alignment (like the catalogue says), my coin has a coin alignment. It weighs as much as it should, but I can't post a photo of it since I'm not home right now. Does anyone know why the rotation is different? And does anyone have any records of this error?

Kind regards

We have no idea were the medal alignment info comes from, if it's empirical or simply a guess. German coins are usually 0° die rotation but French coins are usually 180°. I couldn't find pictures of coins in coin holders there you could see the rotation if it's one or both but I could only find ones with a single holder picture.

My 1 Pfennig is also Coin alignment.

The Pfennig/Groshchen/Thaler types of Westphalia are mixed – some types are listed as coin alignment and some are medal alignment (and some listings don't mention an alignment).

I don't have a complete set, but except for the 1 Pfennig the coins I have match the alignment mentioned in Numista.

I noticed that ucoin also lists them with a 0° rotation. (Link: https://en.m.ucoin.net/coin/westphalia-1-pfennig-1808/?tid=95831 )
