1853 Victoria penny; did I over-pay?

I paid £14.50 for this coin; have I paid too much?

I paid 12 pounds for my 1855 one

That coin is beautiful.

It doesn't matter how much you paid for it, although 20 bucks does seem like a lot.

in my own opinion yes I bid on one very similar not so long ago up to £4, and refused to pay any more.. as people on  here I normally get what I want for a lot less than the normal prices but then I do watch sometime 10+ sell for more than I'm willing to pay before I can get it and with my Bahamas penny this was over a few months !

What grade would you give it? I got it off eBay - it was how good the detail is that made me buy it, I want all my pennies that grade and above. Gonna be here a long time collecting them lol

I have the same coin in about the same grade and paid 15 Canadian for it.. it's a beautiful coin and sells for insane money (some times like 50-60$) on eBay.
