8 feng shui coins tied w/red string

3 berichten • 168 keer bekeken

Hello, all,

I searched the internet (and ebay) for info about the value of the following coins, but all the links only describe historical information, usage, etc.

From my family history I know these 8 coins were collected during WWII or earlier in China by my father who was in the Navy.

Anyone have an idea or internet links where I could find information about the value of these 8 Eight Emperor Coins (八帝錢, 八帝钱) refers to a set of cash coins consisting or the Shunzhi Tongbao, Kangxi Tongbao, Yongzheng Tongbao, Qianlong Tongbao, Jiaqing Tongbao, Daoguang Tongbao, Xianfeng Tongbao / Xianfeng Zhongbao / Xianfeng Yuanbao, and Tongzhi Tongbao / Tongzhi Zhongbao.

Thank you,

Mark

The value of each coin is a few dollars each.

Then the modern feng shui is full of modern replica linked together

So the value of these genuine coins (we may bet that during WWII, the trade in modern counterfeit coins was not too developed) linked together is higher than the sum of the coin values.

As usual, thank you much for the valuable information you've provided me re: my Chinese coins.

Appreciate the responses for the several posts I've made.
