Hello again.
The silvered penny has a more than usual

raised rim.
The one with the blank side has a very high rim on the blank side of the coin

One damaged, perhaps halfway through the process of making a magician's coin.
The other way plated.
The 1959 I believe has a normal rim for the time. I've noticed that 1950-1970 pennies seem to have been struck with more pressure than today. The plating is obviously, as I'm sure you know, considered PMD.
The one with the blank side that has a rim is quite possible ½ of a uni-face coin mint error. That happens when 2 planchets enter the striking machine together. One gets the obverse, the other the reverse. Since the planchets already have a formed rim both uni-face coins have a rim on the blank side. It is unusual (but not impossible) for the strike to be completely centered so something other than a mint error may have happened.
Edit: It would be interesting if on the blank side of the possible uni-face coin you took a picture with oblique lighting to see if you can pick up shadows of Lincoln's portrait.
Thank you for all this information! I will get another picture & post
Thanks. With those shots I'm not seeing anything but the rim does look too high so maybe the machining theory makes more sense. Can you weigh it? Should be about 3.11 g.
I think a friend has a scale - will try this weekend & then post.
Thank you very much!
You're welcome. Make sure to also weigh a known standard (pre 1982 US penny with no significant wear).
Thanks, I will do both
Hello, I have not been able to weigh the coin.
I am posting 2 more interesting coins…
I think it has been machined. project never finished.
Thank you. Sounds like it is not worth much if anything. Appreciate your time on it
