This is a charm evoking the emperor Wu Zong who cast during the years 1310-1311 da yuan tong bao (大元通 宝) coins.
These coins are well known and appreciated and, as genuine ones are rare and often damaged, they are widely copied because they were written both Chinese
and Mongol script versions
in values of 1 cash and very big 10 cash.
On your coin, characters tongbao have been replaced by crescent and decrescent moons which is not the usual way of charm.
A more orthodox charm construction would have been to put a sun and a crescent moon on reverse.
So I bet it's a charm that's no more than a few decades old.
