Very large Chinese coins (87mm diameter) referred to as paperweights on eBay

Can anyone please tell me who produced these ”coins” and why.

They are made in China, for the purpose of making money… 😇

Can anyone please tell me who produced these ”coins” and why.

They are made in China. But exactly why is a good question.

I bought mine at a market in Hong Kong. They can't make a living out of the few western tourists, so the Chinese must buy them for something.

I’ve got some of those in my black museum of coin fakes and forgeries.
