5 Pahlavi 1979 Coin

I found this coin a few years ago when I moved into a rental house. I took it to a gold dealer and he said it was fake (not Gold). So I am trying to find out the real story behind the coin  Can you tell me more about it?

Dimensions?

It is 1.5" across

It's supposed to be these but it's NOT gold. It's seems to be an amazing replica.

It's made from Zinc and something else no gold, not magnetic, so I don't know much more than that. I don't have a scale to weigh it, but it has weight to it.

copper-zinc alloy = brass. 

possibly play money?

I don't think so, because it would have the word “Copy” printed on it and it doesn't. I think it was a counterfeit coin.

Well, that is a great question! I do not know the answer to. Most likely, No!
