Hello,
My grandfather gave me some old coins. He is a former banker so he collected quite a bit. I have been able to identify most using Numista, but this coin is very worn and I can only make out a few details. Any help is appreciated.
The coin is approximately 1 inch (2.45 cm) in diameter and weighs approximately 0.17 oz (5 grams). It is nonmagnetic and mainly brown, so its composition could be copper
Side 1: I think I can make out an upper case “L” with serif.
Side 2: There seems to be a circle in the middle with four crowns, possibly with lilies atop, around it.
If anyone can help, it would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
