Hello, today I come to ask for your help to be able to classify this currency. Does it have a weight of 5.32g and a diameter of 15.2mm. I hope for your help. Thank you very much in advance.

This type of leaf pattern was used by the Bijapur Sultanate under Muhammad Adil Shah, see :- https://www.zeno.ru/showgallery.php?cat=20210

This pattern was also copied by other Indian states

@Vic65 is correct - the pattern on your coin looks like those of Muhammad Adil Shah in Bijapur. However, there are a couple of puzzling things. One is the weight of 5.3 g, which would correspond to about a half falus, but it is reported that for fractional faluses only ⅓ (about 3.7 g) and ⅔ (about 7.5 g) falus coins were produced. Another peculiarity is the pattern on the first photo. Normally on Bijapur coins there is a single dot surrounded by a ring of dots, but the first photo has about three in the center. So it appears this is some kind of imitation or copy, I would guess contemporary. Here for comparison is a ⅓ falus

I have several of this type and it's almost certainly a local copy from the Bijapur area as mentioned in Goron/Goenka,  they all have a crude version of the Persian couplet which after considerable time was reduced to meaningless squiggles and eventually all pretense of a legend disappeared altogether

Greetings mate, thank you very much for the information. It is a pity that it is an imitation and not an original. And I can see this thanks to the details of the weight and some of the characters that you mention. I will try to find an original. I hope I have luck.

It's still a very nice coin though and it's not really uncommon at all in coins of India to find small local states copied popular coins, some continued to be accepted by traders for 50+ years after the original state stopped making them. Originals with a good portion of Persian script visible are quite hard to find, here is my best one
