For the coin above, 1969 is listed as an error date, however, the error variant of that date is in 80% silver (Heritage Auctions link below) and there is no reliable source that I could find online which states that the coin is 50%. Thus, we should remove the coin from the half silver variant and move it to the 80% circulation issue (with a caveat for design changes).

I have looked online quite extensively before this and there is no reliable source that mentions specifically 50% silver but we know that strikes from that year (1969) were made in 80% (based on testing by grading company). Thus, it is classed with that purity.

Please do not change, the error is the planchet and not the date. In 1967 there were planchets, in silver 80%, so in 1969 there were surely surplus ones and another small point the error came from a PL coin (a collector coin) and not from a circulation coin, funny coincidence!
