Need some help on a German shooting medal

So I picked up this medal this morning at a local antique fair for $5 (I know, crazy right?) but I am having some trouble finding info on it. I found it here on numista but it's just the basic info that I can get from the medal. (N#410191) 1890 Berlin Federal Shooting Medal.

Is there any way to find more info about this particular medal? I'm hoping someone might have a catalog that this is in with more info of what particular shooting festival it was, what the actual date was, and if there were more of this kind minted in different metals. Everything checks out but this medal is 25 grams instead of the 22 stated on the numista page  so im curious if this is a different composition. I don't know why the dealer was selling it so cheap. I'm guessing they either didn't know what it was or thought it was a fake or modern replica. Everything checks out except for the weight.  Any info would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
