I hope that these might be helpful. As you can see, the AA die placement is on the right hand side of the coin.

Welcome to numista.

Yes, your image has helped me to make this documentation, which you're welcome to contribute via a Change Request to this coin page:

N#9613

that gives you the possibility of make your first contribution to the numista database.

You just copy my graphic from this message and insert it in the comments section of the coin page, but of course you'll have to discuss with the referee, if a new year line would be needed?

Have fun and if you need help, just ask😉

Hello,

Yes, this is a significant variant of the die marks so I guess it's worth to add the yearline (for small details not visible with eye, comment is sufficient I guess). Just added line.

Curious Collector, you can crop a little your photos and add as example.

Ole, are you able to correct your graphic? Order of photos is not matching the description below… i just added it and realized that it's wrong.

Anyone, who has the 1998 coin - please check your version and if needed, change your entry to newly added 1998 AA die mark on right.

Two Reverse variants exist for 1999 AA: PM on the left and AA on the right (as for 1998), and PM on the right and AA on the left.

Not really true. Should be Two Reverse variants exist for 1999 AA: PM at bottom and AA on the right (as for 1998), and PM on the right and AA on the left.

Ole should add the placement of PM on the graphic.

Also, there's another 1998 variety.  AA on right and PM at bottom.

What editor do you use?

What editor do you use?

Any will work.

I just ask so I can download a particular mobile app or laptop program if it isn’t already something that I have installed.

Thank you rsirian1 and Curious Collector for sharing the new variants, I added your photos as examples. I created also third photos with die mark marked in red and Mint mark marked on blue, the way that I used on other IOM circulated coins.

English is a funny language.  Whole means all. Hole is what is on a golf course.

Real funny thing is the auto-correction in mobile phones… this has tendence to change the words all the time,  specially if default language is not the English and you wrote in English… just corrected (also another one spelling error), thanks.

Ah…auto correct.  I once got a text from my boss asking if I could attend a meeting for him since he was busy.  I replied “NP” for “no problem. Auto correct change it to ”NO". I didn't notice until much later when he ask me what was so important that I couldn't sit in for him in this important meeting.

Just noticed today that this variant is not the coin mentioned in the top - this one is with old obverse without triskelions: N#92029

Oops. Sorry.

I think Ole has overread this post because the mistake is still on the coinpage.

Hi Essor Prof, the graphic by Ole is ok (except of the obverse should be in the center). The graphic refers to two 1999 variants which exist.

1998 case was already corrected (two variants are in fact two different types) and all not necessary info removed.

I know what the graphic refers to, but with the mistake on the graphics still being on the coinpage I meant the text under the pictures don't fit, the text under the middle coin and the coin on the right must be switched.
