Can you please tell me if my note is worth anything and I also have an Australian $1 note PREFIX DGX 300224, and Australian $2note PREFIX LKJ 042736, could you please tell me if they are worth anything and if so how much, thank you, Rich.
Your question is very general. Without looking at the condition, it is hard for anyone to give you a guesstimate.
$10 - AB19 198685 - general prefix. If you have one with AB57 (first prefix AB10), then this is worth something. I am talking about the 2nd print. The first print for the last prefix is AB33.
$1 - Commonwealth Bank of Australia or Australia (Reserve Bank). Again, one has to look at the signatures and the condition.
If you are looking for a general opinion, I would say your $10 is worth A$20-25 in circulated condition. If in UNC condition, it should worth between A$60 to $70 (or maybe even more), and your $1 and $2 (Australia) is worth between $4 to $6. It could worth more if these are earlier prints. I am very conservative here and condition is everything.
Try eBay.com.au and check it out.
This is just my opinion. I am sure some Australia experts here may disagree with me.
Again, without looking at the prefix or signature, it is hard to say, as the first and last prefix would fetch a bit more. By looking at this note, in this condition, I can guarantee you that you can get at least A$2. Your local bank will accept this.
There's a bit of demand for the Australian banknotes in Pakistan, if this note is UNC then it can fetch around AUD50. Serial number would not matter much. Your 2 dollars will get you around AUD4; which, still, is not a bad return for a note in this condition.
