Medal of Belgium 1832

Good afternoon. Recently came across this medal. From what I understand by translating the inscription, it has something to do with the arrival of the King and Queen of Belgium in August 1832. I checked, there was a wedding that year on August 9 - Leopold I of Belgium married Louise of Orleans.
Perhaps it has something to do with that event?
It also has the inscription “Hart.F.” on the reverse side.

I couldn't find a similar piece in the catalog. Perhaps someone knows more about this specimen?

Hello,

Very nice piece.

It is not in the catalog yet.

You can add it yourself.

Hart.F. is the signature of the Belgian engraver Joseph Laurent Hart (1810-1860), which matches the period. He worked in Brussels and in Utrecht.

Your interpretation of the text is almost right: it refers to “the arrival of the King and Queen of the Belgians(*) in Brussels in August 1832”.

*: This is the proper title of the ruling Belgian monarchs; they rule over a people, not over a country.

The symbol with the L and mirrored L is the symbol of the royal couple: https://nl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bestand:Dual_Cypher_of_King_Leopold_and_Queen_Louise-Marie_of_the_Belgians.svg

Here is your medal, though not much more info

That one is not the same, but it is related.

Good afternoon. Thank you all for the information provided. I will try to add this sample to the catalog, but a little later.
