Hi,
some weeks ago, there was a significant change for series management. Series database was created and in general this should be better (it;s possible now to change once the name for series and this will be applied on all related coins).
But one thing is worse that it was before the change: before, when I was on the one coin page, let's say Gibraltar coin and I clicked on series name, this moved me to the list of all Gibraltar coins from this series. Then, I could remove issuer to see other issuers coins within the same series however usually I didn't removed this because I care more about issuers where I'm referee. Specially, when I'm going throug multiple pages and adding the series name.
Now, when I'm clicking on series name, this moves me to the series page, where few coins are displayed (and series description if exists). I can see also which countries have the coins in this series which is also nice, but cannot quickly see the all coins from Gibraltar from this series that was easy to see before changes. Now, this require second click to display all coins and then searching for the one issuer in filter selection to see only what I want to see.
I know that different users prefer to see different things. And some of users are very happy that they can see all coins from the series whatever issuer is just after the one click. But for referees this is less usefull, I guess.
I would prefer to have kind of default option for each member to be able what we can see after the clicking on the series name:
- series page
- full list of coins within the series
- list of the coins only from the initial issuer (from the page that we clicked).
Similar like for default search settings which is great. And if this is not possible, could you please at least make that I will be able to see only Gibraltar coins just after the clicking the issuer name visible on the top of below screen (insead of searching it in search field). At the moment, clicking on the issuer name on series page, move us to the all coins from the issuer, not only these from this series.
As I wrote, this is not a big issue, after some clicks and entering the issuer name I'm still able to see what I want but this is now slower than it was. And If I go with 20-30 coins and I'm adding series name, I try to check every few coins if this was done correctly, so I click and check.
Just one more observation: it looks that series search is now working very fast. Previously, I started to write series name and wait 10 seconds that system shows me the avaliable series… now it's immadietly.
