1983 visit to Poland medallion

Hi

I am struggling to image search this coin. It has poor gold appearance. With stripes from electro plating? Look at the stripes over his face.

I can only locate the same exact coin in silver type of looks. Probably a souvenir coin?

The base metal is unknown and looks of poor minting quality. I base this on the poor letters, for instance look at the letters in the word MAX.

Okay, adding assessment:

Face side kind of could look like that the coin earlier sat in a plastic page. But the other side is even more fishy, with how can a plastic cover reach the depths evenly over such a coin terrain? And before the rim it looks like rainbow colors typical for electroplating.

What did I get here with a lot of different coins?

Definitely a souvenir, likely gold plated

What region of value could there be? Probably not silver inside the core. Could there be nanograms of gold used in the plating? Like really low karats and thickness?

It is heavy. I don't have my sensitive scale at hands right now. But brass, bronz  or copper are heavy too.

There is almost no value in souvenirs, maybe $5

This valuation gives me numerous options. I can think of 4 options.

- I know an auction house that allows things as low as crap, and they start around minimum value 4 - 5 dollars 😂 I can sugar coat it with a second item too

- I can sell it on local online market

- I can gift it to a catholic friend. I'm atheist myself 

- I can keep it as a reference coin for electro plating comparison. But if I could figure this one out, I probably can figure the next one out without this reference coin 😆
