Numista values are derived from the inputs of coin collectors who have bought the coin (here trust of 100% accuracy is required) and from past internet auction sales (added by members) - again these are not always accurate.
I don’t know how Numismaster arrives at it’s values.
NGC as far as I know use the SCWC for their values, along with input from numismatic experts, coin dealerships and auction houses, which is where the catalog get their values from in the first place.
All of these are just guides, guides to inform sellers of the coins value - if a seller has this coin and sells it for 3 dollars then that is what it is worth, likewise if a auction reaches 2,500 dollars then it is also worth that amount. It all depends on the sellers knowledge, what the seller wants and if he/she is willing to sell - likewise the buyers knowledge, how much he/she is willing to pay and whether he/she will commit to the purchase. Market forces.
As for the rarity, according to Numista this year is the rarest year, with only 6% of members who own this coin, owning this year in their collection (again only as accurate as the members input). The rarity index of this coin overall is 6, (1 being every member owns it, 100 no member owns it), so lots of collectors have the coin in their collection. I have 7 in total, but do not have year 7.
Why you should take Numista collection data with a pinch of salt. There is a unique coin in the catalog which is somehow in the collection of more than one member, likewise a coin where only 3 examples of a common coin are known has a far higher % of ownership than is possible if only 3 exist.
If you have this coin, take it to a dealer or auction house, who have knowledge and the desire to make as much profit as possible here you will get the best value. Or sell it on eBay where you will probably get 3 dollars for it!
If you don’t have this coin, you will probably never find one….
