1 Mark, unknown year

Hello folks,

I recently added my old coin “collection”, nothing very valuable, just a bunch of coins I gathered through the years while travelling and then some from deceased relatives.

The stock of coins which contains this one come from the parents living in Alsace (France) and went through WWII. It came with a bunch of WWII pfennigs and Occupied french coins. There were also multiples coins from Germany 1912-ish.

So the coin I need to identify is this “1 Mark” coin, which doesn't have a year stamped on it and any other specific markings, as far as I can tell.
A Google Lens search did not provide any results, as a look into 1900-ish marks either.

A picture search here on Numista did not bring any results other than coins with a “1” instead of the “R.”.

Diameter : between 24-25mm.

Weight: between 3-4g.

(sorry, don't have tools for precise measurements)

So maybe some more knowledgeable people here could help me identify it.
Let me know if you need better pictures.

Thanks !

Looks like exonumia to me, spiel-münze or play money.

similar to one of these?

Interrested in nordic numismatic history, and european history overall.

Always looking for damaged, holed or even unidentifyable coins.

That's where my first search landed me to. As very new on the website, I didn't pay attention it was on the token page.
Thanks for pointing that out to me.
How difficult is it usually to determine the “utility” of the token ?
