Need help please - can anyone identify this coin / token?

It was found in a cow's stomach in Ireland, a long time ago (50 years ago maybe). It's clearly not an Irish coin. Does anyone have information to help identify this? Thanks all.

Hi! Sorry but I only have a photograph, and it’s of the front only. It’s a very old query that was on file - I came across it recently while re-boxing a correspondence collection. They wouldn’t have had Google or anything like that back then but I gave it a go. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any matching images.

Looks like some kind of lucky charm, although not so lucky for the cow!  the centre looks like a meaningless garbled attempt at writing Arabic which is often found on items like this to make them appear mysterious
