Kishangarh and Jaipur [opgelost]

Hello Experts,

The recent thread by @superagentman  made me revisit my 3 coins.  First, the pictures:

Obverse:

Reverse:

Questions:

1. Coins  A, B seem to be Kishangarh C05. We can see the obverse and it seems to match well with portions of the die. Would you agree? What is the year? How do I figure that out?

2. My primary question is about coin C: This looks closer to Jaipur KM-29. Would you agree? The reason I think thats the case:

  • Obverse: The stick man next to the "jhar"
  • Reverse:  Seems similar

What is the regnal year?

Coins A and B do appear to be Kishangarh C05, taking into account different striking positions on the flan. A date or regnal year is not apparent. Krause says that these coins were made from 1805-1837, and that many are undated, while some show a RY 5 and some a RY 7. Yours appear to be undated.

Coin C does look like Japiur KM#29. On the left side of the first photo I see a partial arabic 7. For this coin in Krause regnal year 7 is not reported, but 17 is, so I suspect it's RY 17 (1775-1776), with the leading 1 off the flan.

Amazing! Thank you. Curious where you see the seven In the Jaipur going.

The seven is at 9 o-clock on the first photo of coin C, just left of the Jhar symbol. The Krause example of this coin shows a RY 19 in this spot on the coin.

Amazing! it’s 7 in persian. I was thinking Hindi and looking it as a 5!
