Value of coins please

Hi there, I would like to know if anyone knows the value of some coins I inherited from my dad it’s a King Charles coronation coin 6/5/2023 republic du Senegal

Welcome to Numista. I believe this is it. If genuine, the minimum value would be it's bullion or melt value unless you can find someone willing to pay a premium over melt value for it. Currently about $139 U.S. As you can see, these coins are not well documented anywhere in the Numismatic world and Numista as well as others do not yet have a photo of an example. Would you mind if I try to add your coin the the Numista page until we can obtain better photos of this type? I would need your permission to do so.

Edit - I will qualify my post as pointing out that some of the information on this Numista page may be wrong. As stated earlier, these coins are not well documented.  For instance, a .999 40 mm gold coin should weigh far more than the stated 1.55g and therefore be valued much higher than the stated bullion value currently on the Numista page. Take what is stated here with a grain of salt as I am only trying to help you and stumbled upon this issue.

The good news is that you are clearly one of the few who possess one. The bad news is now we must rely on you for better information on this specific coin if you are willing. Now, about that packaging getting in the way of the specifics.

Maybe it's just really thin. This lists it as sold for 40 pounds. This one is asking for 70 euros for it and lists it as 1/200 ounces (0.155 grams). I checked Numismaster but no KM number. Also there are already pictures on the coin page that could have been used.

I saw that too when researching which is very possible. Retail sites never seem to contribute important details but of course have prices attached for more guessing and extrapolation on our part.. Research still needs to be done. What I do see is a lot of Sengal issues that are not well understood or documented and thought the OP could help clarify information with us for a better understanding of these types. The packing is not helpful as those that do possess these types would be reluctant in removing them as expected, thus contributing to the lack of clarity of so many of these limited edition Senegal issued coins.

To me it doesn't look like a minted coin but rather like ink printed one.

Anything is possible these days. Note in my response “if genuine”.  Meantime, no response from the OP.

If it were made only out of gold it would be about as thick as a hair. I could imagine it being a gilded plastic disc, if that plastic disc were part of the weight it would be about a mm thick.

Ok, you guys take over this one. I am done.
