Thai 1 Baht coin B.E. 2540 (1997) upside-down reverse error [opgelost]

There is nothing wrong with it being in "coin" alignment.

It’s supposed to be reverse?

The dies are turned 180° (↑↓) in relation to another, that's what's called “coin” alignment. 

0° (↑↑) is called “medal” alignment. 

So it’s for a fact not an error and they just made like that?

Is it worth anything in todays market or do you by any chance know where I could find a 1 baht 1997 in coin alignment to compare prices?

Have you looked at the coin page? There are some prices but to be honest I would not pay that much more then face (about 3 cent) for common stuff like that.
