Bought in Morocco, I know of only a few issuers who struck round coins with a square inside with a double fine line (=) on both sides.
Among the Sa'adians, there is Abu el-Abbas II al Mansour (986-1012H); Abu el-Mahaly (ursupator) also has a double line but on a single square, the other side is circular.
There is also the Hohertz 923 of Fez, but these are not at all the same letters.
At the beginning of the Alawites, these are simple lines.
The obverse seems to me to be simplified extracts from the Koran.
The reverse is unfortunately worn and difficult to read: is it the name of the issuer or a date?
What can we read on this coin?
Silver
Diameter: around 14 mm
Weight: 1.17g
Thanks for your help,
